dance styles

  • A dynamic and expressive dance, this style blends elements of various dance types to create a fun, empowering style, all in heels! We go from slow and sensual to upbeat and pop and everything in between.

  • Don’t let the jazz fool you - this is an upbeat, pop-y style with lots of funk and groove! Similar to heels, we combine elements of street dancing and sensuality to create this exciting style.

  • A more classic style of dance focusing on fluidity and big motions. We often add a pop flair to keep this dance more upbeat!

  • Our own fusion of street dance, hip hop, and jazz funk. This style is quicker but fun and still beginner friendly!

  • Ballet can be for everyone! We learn some basic moves to light melodies.

FAQs

when are classes?

Our adult drop-ins are most Wednesdays from 8:00PM - 8:55PM at our dance studio, 135 Main Street, Salt Pond.

How much are classes?

Classes are $10.00 + HST = $11.50 per class. For every four (4) drop-in classes you attend, you get the fifth free!

what should i expect?

For every dance style, we start with a warm-up and stretch. We then move into learning a short dance combo. The style and song vary weekly, please see our calendar below for specifics on each class!

What should I bring?

We encourage all dancers to bring water bottles to each class, as we do not have a water fountain on site. You may wish to bring a hair elastic if you have longer hair, and your phone if you wish to take a video of the combo at the end of class!

who can come to adult drop-ins?

We invite all dancers ages 18+ to our adult drop-in classes. No experience is necessary for any of our dance styles!

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable! That may be your favourite outfit, a sexy number in the back of your closet, or just sweatpants. Anything but jeans is perfectly danceable!

For heels classes, we recommend block heels, particularly boots/booties. For all other dance styles, sneakers or socks are fine.
