Our History

Founded in 2024, our owner/operator, Alden Spencer, saw a need for dance classes in her hometown. With that, La Vie en Rose Dance Studio was born!

We currently offer ballet classes for dancers aged 3+ on the Burin Peninsula. We also offer pop-up dance classes for adults. Classes are offered in Salt Pond, NL.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to encourage dancers to live La Vie en Rose, or living life with positivity and kindness, through movement and self-expression.

We value inclusion, positivity, and kindness at LVER Dance Studio. We welcome individuals of all abilities and identities to dance with us.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We currently offer ballet classes for dancers aged 3+ on Saturdays. Please see Youth Classes for more information. Please note, registration for the 2025-26 dance year will open in July 2025!

    We also occasionally offer pop-up dance classes for adults. Please see Adult Classes for more information.

    We are also available for private group bookings, such as group functions or bachelorette parties. More information coming soon!

  • We are based out of Salt Pond, NL.

  • Our owner/operator, Alden Spencer, is currently the only instructor at LVER Dance Studio. For more information about Miss Alden, please see Our Instructor!

  • All dancers are encouraged to bring water bottles to class, as we do not have access to a fountain at our studio!

    We ask all youth dancers to keep all toys, stuffed animals, accessories, tablets, etc. at home to avoid distraction during class.

  • For information on dance attire for youth classes, please see our dance attire section.

    Adult dancers may choose to wear comfortable/athletic clothing, such as yoga pants or sweatpants, or your favourite outfit that makes you feel great! Anything that lets you move freely and comfortably. Depending on the class, you may choose to wear sneakers, block heels, or go in your socks.
