Winter semester fees are due. If paying by cash, card, or cheque, the studio will be open in the evening for in-person payment.
Dancers are permitted to pay for both semesters up front ($241.50).

Ballet Class
Our first class of the semester! We will begin with some basic moves in our introductory class.

After a two (2) week break, we will begin learning our choreography for our Winter show, “The Nutcracker”!


Ballet Class - Halloween Party
Join us for our Halloween party! Dancers are invited to attend class in their costumes. After one run through, we will play some games and have some treats in class! More information will be distributed closer to the party date.

In week eight, we drill our choreography to ensure everyone is comfortable and confident with the routine. Show time in two weeks!

Our final rehearsal before our in-class Winter show, dancers are asked to wear their show outfits if possible to ensure everyone has all costume pieces. We continue practising the choreography and work on our bows!

Ballet Class - Winter show
Our Winter show will be held during respective class times at the studio. Dancers are permitted to invite two (2) guests to class to show off their hard work. We will also have semester-end certificates and Christmas treats for our Nutcrackers! More information will be distributed at the end of October.
Please note siblings are permitted to attend, but they do count as one of the two guests allotted for each dancer.

Ballet Class - Valentine’s Party
Week five is our Valetine’s Day party! Dancers are encouraged to wear Valentine’s Day colours to class like red, pink, or white. We will review our choreography before we have some games and treats for Valentine’s Day.

Week six, the halfway point of the semester, sees us continuing with show choreography.

Spring Costume Deposit Due
Spring costume deposit is due. If paying by cash, card, or cheque, the studio will be open in the evening for in-person payment. PLEASE NOTE: if costume deposit is not received by March 6, your dancer’s costume will not be ordered. The costume is required to participate in the year-end show.
Dancers are permitted to pay the entire costume fee up front ($65.00).

We finish learning our show choreography in the tenth week of the semester.

Spring Costume Balance Due
Spring costume balance is due. If paying by cash, card, or cheque, the studio will be open in the evening for in-person payment. PLEASE NOTE: costume will not be available for pick up until costume balance is received.

After a two week break, we drill our show choreography repeatedly in week eleven.

Week twelve, the last week of the year, we will continue practising our show choreography so everyone feels comfortable and confident with their routines.

Staging - Spring Show
Staging/dress rehearsal will be the Friday night prior to the dance recital at St. Gabriel’s Hall. Dancers are asked to arrive in full costume so we can practise our bows and staging for the show. We will go in age order, and once your dancer has finished their dance they are free to leave to avoid keeping the younger ones later than necessary.

Our massive, year-end show on the big stage of St. Gabriel’s Hall! All of our hard work throughout the semester is put on display for all our loved ones. More information on tickets and show information will be distributed in the Spring semester.
